Panasonic KX-TAW848 main unit is initially configured (4 X 4) with 4 hybrid extension ports and 4 loop start CO ports (1 LCOT card). The KX-TAW848 phone system is expandable to 8 COs and 24 wired
extension ports (28 by parallel connecting 4 analog stations to the hybrid card) and 28 wireless handsets. Unit is very similar in physical design and feature set of the KX-TDA50 system (requires a certified Panasonic KX-TDA dealer for installation and registration). Primary difference is that it uses analog phones (KX-T7700 series) but allow for wireless cell telephones (portable stations) that are typically reserved for digital systems. KX-TAW848 is the perfect solution for luxury homes that need multi-line cordless phones and cover large amount of space. Just released, version 3.0 for the KX-TAW848 system with new enhanced software making this Panasonic wireless solution even better. Easy PC based programming via USB on the KX-TAW848.

- KX-TAW848 supports PC-Based programming and requires:
- Microsoft Windows 98 SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, or Windows XP
- CPU: 133 MHz Intel Pentium or faster
- RAM: At least 64 MB of available RAM (128 MB recommended)
- Hard disk space: At least 100 MB of space for the installation, and approximately 2 MB of additional space for user files
