The KX-TD193 provides Caller ID on four CO lines for your KX-TD1232 or KX-TD816 Digital Hybrid Telephone System. When used with Panasonic system display phones (see list below of compatible telephones), caller id number and/or name appears on the display telephone. Please note, Caller ID service must be enabled from the telephone company and typically there is a monthly fee for caller ID service.
The KX-TD193 is a small circuit board that attaches to the main circuit board, inside the control unit, or inside a KX-TD180 module. The installation process is fairly simple, however programming of the telephone system is required. Your telephone dealer will need to enable Caller Id for each incoming telephone line (default is disabled).
Each KX-TD193 card equips up to four lines with Caller Id. Two KX-TD193 cards can be installed on the CO mother board on each cabinet, and one can be installed on the KX-TD180 CO expansion unit for a single KX-TD1232 cabinet system for a total of three cards, covering twelve lines.
A double cabinet system would have a system total of six KX-TD193 cards covering 24 lines.
